Our Story. Our Land. Our Products.
A Southern Oregon farm shaped by agriculture, craftsmanship, local history, and a simple belief that what the land provides should be used thoughtfully and made to last.
Built Around the Land
Rogue Rapid Farms is a small, family-operated farm in Southern Oregon. We live here, work here, and are building a diversified farm business around agriculture, craftsmanship, responsible use of natural materials, and products with a genuine connection to the land.
Instead of depending on one single crop or one product line, the farm brings together honey bees and pollinator habitat, Christmas trees, seasonal crops, direct farm sales, reclaimed cedar woodworking, handcrafted gifts, and other farm-based projects. Each part is intended to support the others and strengthen the farm over time.

Use What the Land Provides
As we restore, maintain, and develop the property, usable wood and other materials are repurposed whenever practical. Cedar that might otherwise be discarded can move from the property to the mill, from the mill to the workshop, and from the workshop into a finished bench, shelf, gift box, table, or one-of-a-kind piece.
That same philosophy carries into the rest of the farm: protect pollinators, build long-term plantings, develop useful infrastructure in phases, and create products that come from real work on real land rather than from mass production.
Several Parts. One Farm.
The long-term plan is intentionally modular. Each project can stand on its own, but together they create a more resilient farm operation with multiple ways to produce, sell, and make use of the property.
Honey & Pollinators
Bee yards and pollinator habitat support farm pollination while creating opportunities for honey and other bee-related products as production grows.
Christmas Trees
Long-term seasonal plantings are being developed as a future farm crop, with availability increasing as the trees mature.
Seasonal Crops & Farm Goods
Produce, herbs, specialty crops, and value-added farm goods can be offered as seasonal production develops.
Handcrafted Wood
Reclaimed cedar and other locally sourced wood are turned into useful, durable, small-batch products with natural character preserved.

Southern Oregon History Is Part of the Story
The farm sits on a historic Southern Oregon property that was once part of much larger holdings and was once held by an unconventional religious community with a long and unusual regional history.
Historical research connects that earlier ownership with ranch, timber, and sawmill activity in the Eagle Point and Lake Creek area. The exact location of the remembered “Big Mill” has not been proven to have stood on the present parcel, so we do not claim that it did. What is documented is that the modern farm came out of a much larger historical landscape with deep ties to land, timber, water, ranching, and rural industry.
That history gives the reclaimed cedar and the work we do with it an added sense of place. The goal is not to recreate the past, but to respect the land, preserve what can be reused, and build something useful from what remains.
A Farm Being Built in Practical Phases
The Land
The property carries the marks of earlier rural use and a long Southern Oregon ownership history. Today it is being restored and organized as a working farm.
The Farm Today
Current work centers on agriculture, bees, Christmas trees, water and fencing improvements, reclaimed wood, handcrafted products, and customer-facing farm sales.
The Long-Term Vision
Future phases may expand specialty crops, direct sales, value-added products, educational experiences, and carefully planned agritourism where legally permitted.
Small-Batch by Design
Rogue Rapid Farms is not a mass-production operation. Many products are made individually or in limited batches, which allows more attention to natural materials, useful details, and the character of each piece.
Knots, live edges, grain changes, checks, color variation, and other natural features are not flaws to hide. They are part of what makes real wood different from manufactured material and part of what gives every handcrafted piece its own identity.
